GCW appointed on Woking shopping centre

GCW have been appointed as new joint letting agents in respect to Peacocks Centre, Woking. 

The 550,000 ft² shopping centre is anchored by Debenhams and Primark.  Hennes and Next have recently opened new stores of 29,000 ft² and 15,500 ft² respectively. 

Elsewhere, the owners of The Peacocks, Moyallen , have recently had a planning application for a substantial remodelling of the centre’s facade facing on to Town Square approved.  The application included an extension to create more retail floor space, a new double height glazed exterior and new entrance lobby.  Work on the new development is now underway with the completion date in November 2010. . A new letting to a major brand is soon to be announced.

Tim Buckley for Moyallen said, “ GCW demonstrated substantial knowledge and enthusiasm and as the centre progresses we hope that they will bring new tenants to the centre. Footfall is up and we have several new names to be announced in the Autumn and many other conversations underway.” 

GCW replace Savills as joint letting agents.
