Prudential, on behalf of Scottish Amicable Life Assurance Society, have let unit 36, Swan Centre, Eastleigh to BrightHouse.
The shop was let by way of a new effectively full repairing and insuring lease for a term of ten years subject to an upward only rent review and tenant only break clause at the fifth year at a commencing rental of £70,000 p.a. Brighthouse received a rent-free period of six months.
GCW acted for Prudential, whilst Smith Price represented BrightHouse.
The Swan Centre is also set for big changes later this year with the opening of the new leisure scheme adjacent to the shopping centre. The development is nearing completion and pre-lets include the likes of Vue cinema, AMF bowl, Frankie & Benny's and Nandos.
