GCW acquired the parade for Topland on the junction with Northampton’s main pedestrian thoroughfare, Abington Street and Fish Street. It identified a range of strong potential asset management opportunities and has now helped Topland to deliver on the business plan with three key deals.
Nationwide takes a new unit with 4,000 sq ft on the ground floor and 5,500 sq ft on the first floor on a 15 year lease at £140,000 pa which reflects £100 Zone A. This will be a flagship branch for Nationwide, whilst reducing the number of its other branches in the town, which is home to its administrative centre.
GCW has also agreed a regeared five year lease with Virgin Media at £47,500 pa on a 900 sq ft unit. A third 650 sq ft unit formerly let to Vodafone has been let to Fone Box at £35,000 pa.
