GCW were instructed by AXA REIM to devise a strategy to implement a number of lease renewals on one of the most prominent corner blocks in Shrewsbury, comprising 45-48 Pride Hill and 22-25 High Street.
As a result of advice from GCW’s agency and professional teams, leases have been successfully renewed/regeared with tenants including Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Whittards. Furthermore, new tenants in the block include Paperchase and Mountain Warehouse being secured on new leases at rentals of £115,000 and £150,000 pa for terms of 10 years.
As the property occupied by Edinburgh Woollen Mill was originally built in 1559 the renewal on this property represents one of GCW’s oldest instructions!
