Land Securities have completed lettings on two large stores at their South London Shopping Centre in Lewisham.
Hennes has taken possession of the former Woolworths store at 11 Lewisham Centre, which comprises in excess of 13,000 ft². The retailer has committed to a new 10 year full repairing & insuring lease at £300,000 pa. The new Hennes store is due to open in late August/early September 2009.
Elsewhere, Poundland have opened a new store at 56 Lewisham Centre. The 8,000 ft² store has been let to them by way of a new 10 year full repairing & insuring lease at an initial rent of £215,000 pa. The store has already opened for trade and initial sales are exceeding expectations.
