Simon joined GCW in 1998 after moving from New Zealand where he had held several senior roles in leading property consultancies. As a Partner Simon leads our Occupier team. He's a recognised specialist in what many would consider alternative sectors covering including gyms, children's nurseries, hotels and student housing. Simon's been a key figure in breaking down the perceived barriers to this sector, promoting these as 'standard' town centre uses which form an essential part of delivering a vibrant and engaging location that resonates with its catchment.

Simon started life as an ice cream salesman. He is now married and enjoys swimming with his daughter, travel and tennis.  When time permits he loves to watch his beloved Ireland play rugby.
